Lease Administrator

Vista, CA - ******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are seeking a Lease Administrator for our Vista, CA office. The individual must be able to interpret tenant leases in order to abstract and set these up in our CTI Commercial Management Accounting system. This position will handle multiple retail properties and requires review of existing lease billings to ensure accuracy; recurring tenant charges; percentage rent, CPI rent escalations, tracking of Co-tenancy clauses, preparing periodic Real Estate Taxes and Common Area Maintenance recovery billings as well as processing the disputes related to these; and making tenant receivable follow up calls as necessary. The Lease Administrator is also responsible for reviewing the CAM recovery general ledger expense coding to ensure accuracy of annual automated billings. Good communication skills both verbal and in writing are very important as this position requires frequent contact with tenants as well as in-house Property Managers, Leasing Agents, AR Collectors, and Cash Administrators. The right candidate must have strong Excel skills, basic accounting experience, be very detail oriented, able to multitask, organized, a team player, able to process high volumes of data and ability to excel in a fast paced environment.
