New Hyde Park, NY - ******Unless specifically contracted, resumes from recruiting agencies are not being accepted for this position.****** We are currently seeking an International Staff Accountant for our New Hyde Park location, reporting to the International Tax Manager. The individual will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information for foreign investments between the accounting and tax departments, analyzing movement of cash for Section 987/988 gains, preparing monthly Canadian GST filings, withholding tax payments as well as estimated payments. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required, a Masters in Tax is a plus. Candidate must have a minimum of two years of accounting experience. Knowledge of Foreign Reporting, Real Estate and REIT experience a plus. Professional must be a self-starter, organized, detail oriented and a team player. Must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software and computerized accounting systems. Knowledge of CTI or Yardi is a plus.
