GRAND PARKWAY MARKETPLACE I & II combine to create a 110-acre, approximately 695,000-square-foot open-air retail hub, located along the newly built Grand Parkway extension in the Greater Houston community of Spring, Texas. This ground-up development’s prime location offers retailers street frontage along Grand Parkway and a direct route to The Woodlands, a highly successful, upscale planned community just a few miles north of the shopping center. Recent additions to the area include new facilities for the ExxonMobil world headquarters, which houses approximately 10,000 employees: Noble Energy, Southwestern Energy and CHI St. Luke's Health. Nearby tech giant, HP recently opened their new campus in nearby Cityplace, Springwoods Village, bringing approximately 2400 employees to the area. Next Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has started construction on an additional 440,000 square feet of rentable office space with parking for 2055 cars. The 488,000-square-foot Grand Parkway I opened in Q1 of 2017, anchored by Target, TJ Maxx, Michaels, PetSmart, Burlington, DSW, Ulta, and more, while the approximately 207,000-square-foot Grand Parkway II, anchored by Hobby Lobby and Academy Sports + Outdoors opened in the summer of 2017, followed by LA Fitness in late 2018. Grand Parkway I includes a restaurant village with a picturesque dining backdrop featuring attractive landscaping, a scenic lake and an active pedestrian boardwalk.
